Third-year Green Bay Packers receiver Romeo Doubs got the best of All-Pro cornerback Jaire Alexander in one-on-ones during Tuesday’s practice. According to reports from those in attendance, after three head-to-head matchups in a competitive period, Alexander asked to get more reps against Doubs, as he attempted to dig himself out of a hole.
After practice, Alexander gave Doubs his props. In the locker room, the cornerback said Doubs is a “close second” for his top receivers in the league, only behind the Las Vegas Raiders’ Davante Adams — Alexander’s former Packers teammate.
