The Green Bay Packers did something this season that they haven’t done in more than two decades: they drafted a wide receiver in the first round of the draft. GM Brian Gutekunst selected Matthew Golden with the 23rd overall pick in front of an exited home crowd at Lambeau Field. Through the first half of the season, Golden has been solid and shown flashes of the elite talent that made him a first round pick. But in the second half of the season, it’s time for the Packers and head coach Matt LaFleur to turn Golden loose and get him more involved in the offense.
