The Green Bay Packers needed all the way until game time to make a decision, but star running back Josh Jacobs is available and will play in Week 7 against the Arizona Cardinals.
Jacobs drew a questionable tag on the injury report due to an illness and a calf injury, although it was the latter that put his status in jeopardy. However, after a pre-game workout, the Packers have determined that the All-Pro running back is good to go.
The Packers had real concerns over his status, as they promoted Pierre Strong Jr. to the gameday roster on Saturday.
