How have former Alabama QBs fared in their first NFL starts?

Tua Tagovailoa will become the 12th Alabama alumnus to start at quarterback in an NFL regular-season game on Saturday.

After joining Miami as the fifth player picked in the NFL Draft on April 23 and spending his first six games as the backup for Ryan Fitzpatrick, Tagovailoa was named the starter for the Dolphins' game against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday.

Three of the previous 11 starting quarterbacks from Alabama are in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. But none of the 11 had a particularly eye-popping debut, such as the kind that Miami fans are hoping for from Tagovailoa.
