Davante Adams was just like millions of viewers anxiously tuning into Aaron Rodgers’ debut with the New York Jets.
And when Rodgers went down with an Achilles’ tendon tear four snaps into the new chapter of his career, Adams’ immediately felt emotional for his former Green Bay Packers teammate.
"It’s like a horrible movie," Adams, the Las Vegas Raiders star receiver, told reporters during his press conference this week.
"You don’t want to see the main character go down like that at all – let alone as early as what it was.
