With 29 players sitting, including most starters, the Green Bay Packers fell behind the Indianapolis Colts 13-0 in the first half and looked headed for another big preseason defeat after starting the exhibition schedule with a disappointing 30-10 loss to the New York Jets. Not so fast.
Once all of the Colts' starters exited the contest, the backups of the Packers took over.
Taylor Elgersma led three different scoring drives, Israel Abanikanda and Amar Johnson scored hard-earned touchdowns, and Sean Clifford put the Packers up for good late with an 11-yard touchdown run with under two minutes to go, giving Green Bay a 23-19 come-from-behind win at Lucas Oil Stadium.
