The Green Bay Packers will host their second "Winter Warning" whiteout game when they play the Washington Commanders on Sept. 11 at Lambeau Field.
Fans might be asking why a winter whiteout game is scheduled for usually balmy September. Primarily, it's because most fans don't own white cold-weather gear. Also, last season, the whiteout game was played at noon. The Commanders game will be at night on the national Thursday Night Football game, and the white clothing, in the stands and on the field, should show up nicely under the lights.
