Green Bay Packers release Jake Kumerow

Green Bay Packers WR Jake Kumerow was released on Saturday morning, which comes as somewhat of a surprise. Kumerow played in approximately 30% of all offensive snaps last season and was expected to enter 2020 as the 4th WR on the depth-chart, behind Davante Adams, Allen Lazard and Marquez Valdes-Scantling.

First early surprise: Packers are releasing WR Jake Kumerow, according to a source. This a day after Aaron Rodgers counted Kumerow among the four returning receivers he suggested were locks to make it again. https://t.co/nvmlCZ3qPM
