Green Bay Packers’ rally falls short against the Vikings

(WNFL/LEARFIELD) – The much-anticipated showdown in Minneapolis against the Vikings had an exciting finish but not the one Packers fans wanted.

Minnesota built a 27-10 lead and then held on for a 27-25 win over the Packers on Sunday.

Packers coach Matt LaFleur talked about the effort being there but not the execution.

He also talked about the Packers not being able to beat the teams ahead of them in the standings (Minnesota, Detroit, Philadelphia).

LaFleur said that the fumble on the opening drive hurt.

And with Christian Watson out, LaFleur addressed the inability to get the ball downfield.
