The Detroit Lions may have to worry a little less about the newest Green Bay Packers' acquisition.
As first reported by the NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, the Packers are not expected to include defensive end Micah Parsons on a "full complement of plays" when they host the Lions in their season opener on Sunday, Sept. 7.
According to Rapoport, the Packers are treating Parsons carefully as he recovers from a facet joint sprain in his back. The team also wants to integrate Parsons slowly into their system since he has yet to go through a full training camp with the team.
