It’s been a long time – but former assistant coach Andy Reid is coming back to Lambeau to face his first team, the Green Bay Packers on Monday night.
The Packers took a chance on Reid joining the coaching staff back in 1992, the beginning of the “age of Favre.”
He recalls Lambeau Field vividly and fondly.
In fact, he says that the atmosphere and mystique of Lambeau is a whole lot like what the Kansas City Chiefs are working with over at Arrowhead Stadium.
When preparing to host an opponent at such a historic stadium, Reid remarked that you aren’t really putting too much stock in the homefield advantage, even though it is a big part of what makes the city and the team great.
