GREEN BAY - NFL Hall of Famer Brett Favre issued a message to Green Bay Packers fans on Sunday as they struggled with the rest of the world to avoid and contain the deadly new coronavirus.
"We'll get through it together," Favre said in a video posted on the Packers' Facebook and Twitter pages.
In the message, the former Packers quarterback signaled his endorsement of the precautions all Americans have been advised to take while expressing confidence that the pandemic will pass in time.
"I know you, like myself and everyone else, are really going through a difficult time," Favre said in the 1-minute video, which appeared to be recorded at home.
