Green Bay Packers: Jordan Love’s New Weapon Has a Plan to Win Over QB

The Green Bay Packers have bought in on Jordan Love, as evidenced by the fact that they signed him to a four-year, $220 million contract extension in 2024. Love knew at the time of his signing that he had big shoes to fill, considering that he is the successor of future Pro Football Hall of Famer Aaron Rodgers.

While he’s not yet on the level of Rodgers, he’s shown the Packers glimpses of being the team’s long-term answer under center. To help Love become a true franchise quarterback, Green Bay got him some new weapons in the offseason, including wide receiver Matthew Golden, who was taken in the first round of the 2025 NFL draft.
