LAMBEAU FIELD, Wis. (WBAY) - More than 1,100 people came together at Lambeau Field on Friday for the “Welcome Back Packers “luncheon.
This tradition goes back more than 60 years in partnership with the Greater Green Bay Chamber and the Packers.
The players took a seat amongst attendees to enjoy the luncheon. Community members tell Action 2 News that this is a fun tradition to kick off the season.
“It is incredibly exciting being a part of such an amazing event,” said Alex Young. “I’ve grown up seeing this event take place so to be able to be a part of it firsthand is something special.
