Per ESPN Wisconsin’s Jason Wilde, Packer fans root for the underdog and Jeff Janis is feeling the love. Jeff is from Northern Michigan, so that may explain some of the home town affection.
Perhaps all that love for Wisconsin-esque players began all the way back in 1919 with Curly Lambeau. Players like Bill Schroeder, Scott Tolzien and Jared Abbrederis will always have instant and strong proponents.
Now Jeff has to win the trust and confidence of his quarterback. “I’m just trying to take advantage of everything I’m taking right now, try to get more comfortable with Aaron and be on the same page with him,” Janis said.
