The Green Bay Packers entered the 2025 NFL offseason with the expectation that they would move on from longtime star cornerback Jaire Alexander. Early on in the offseason, it seemed to be a foregone conclusion that they would either trade or release him.
Brian Gutekunst has not moved him yet. There is no concrete direction about what the Packers will end up doing with him.
A new report has come out that has suggested Green Bay might not be sold on parting ways with Alexander after all. It’s a glimmer of hope for the fans who want to see Alexander given one more chance to stay healthy and make the kind of impact that he’s still capable of making.
