Green Bay Packers coach Matt LaFleur impressed early on with newest free-agent signings

GREEN BAY − The Green Bay Packers continued their offseason program with organized team activities, 10 days of meetings, individual drills and organized practice.

While it’s not a typical training camp and the drills are non-contact, it builds the groundwork for what’s expected during camp.

During the May 28 session open to the media, offensive lineman Elgton Jenkins, cornerback Jaire Alexander, offensive lineman John Williams, kicker Brandon McManus and cornerback Tyron Herring were not spotted at practice. Jenkins and Alexander both reportedly are trying to rework their contracts.
