Soon after losing Sam Shields in Week 1 last season, it quickly became apparent the Packers had a real problem at cornerback. It proved to be their downfall in the playoffs, Dom Capers’ defense having no answer for Julio Jones and the Falcons’ high-powered offense in the NFC Championship Game.
Adding more talent to the secondary became priority number one this offseason. First came Davon House in free agency, soon followed by King in the draft.
