Grading the Pack - Week 6 - 49ers Vs. Packers (Defense)

The Packers ended Sunday’s game against the 49ers with 401 total yards allowed, gave up 30 points, and backup quarterback C.J. Beathard ended the game with a 115.3 quarterback rating. Backup running backs Raheem Mostert and Matt Breida ran for 148 yards on only 26 carries. All things considered it was a poor overall performance, at home, against a struggling 49ers offense.

While Green Bay doesn’t exactly deserve any kudos for their performance on Monday, the individual grades weren’t quite as bad many people, myself included, may have expected. As is often the case, you can have a play where ten players are doing their jobs and end up with a neutral or positive grade on the play, but one person can ruin an entire play for the whole team.
