Gary's shoulder '110 percent' healthy for Packers

Gary was the team's No. 12 overall selection in the 2019 NFL Draft Thursday night, adding him to a defensive front now rich in pass-rushing expertise.

Despite reportedly dealing with a torn labrum in his shoulder -- reports that Gary claimed as false -- the Packers made Gary the first of their two first-round selections. They later swapped picks with the Seattle Seahawks, packaging two fourth-rounders (No. 114 and No. 118) to move from No. 30 to No. 21 and select Maryland safety Darnell Savage Jr.

Whatever the injury is, Gary told reporters via conference call Thursday night that there isn't a need for surgery, according to ESPN's Rob Demovsky.
