Game-Changing Play of the Week: 49ers Leave Too Much Time on the Clock with Late TD

It's not too often that arguably the biggest play of the game in favor of the Packers is a positive play for the other team, but given way the end of last night's game between Green Bay and San Francisco played out, that's exactly what happened.

Late in the game, the 49ers were driving down the field and purposefully chewing time off the clock, knowing the Packers had no timeouts and wanting to avoid a potentail Aaron Rodgers miracle comeback.

What then happened on the final play of the drive was a bit of a stunner.

Rather than letting the play clock wind all the way down to chew up more time, Jimmy Garoppolo snapped the ball with about 12 seconds left.
