Former Wisconsin running back flashes elite speed in NFL joint practice

Former Wisconsin running back Braelon Allen continues to excel during the New York Jets’ 2025 training camp.

Following his 33-yard performance in the team's 30-10 triumph over the Green Bay Packers on Saturday, Allen turned heads with a touchdown along the sidelines in a joint practice vs. the New York Giants. Allen, who fielded a handoff from first-string quarterback Justin Fields, evaded lineman Kayvon Thibodeaux before sprinting down the left sideline for a score.

At his 6-foot-1, 235-pound stature, Allen's speed has evolved into one of the more potent parts of his offensive toolbox.
