Former Packers third-round pick lands with Cardinals following draft

The Arizona Cardinals announced the signing of former Green Bay Packers third-round pick Josiah Deguara on Monday. The 94th overall pick in the 2020 draft spent four seasons with the Packers but played last season with the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Deguara split time as a tight end, fullback and special teamer with the Packers but never materialized as an impact player despite being a Day 2 selection. He caught only 47 passes in 50 games with the Packers and wasn't re-signed after his rookie deal expired following the 2023 season.

Last season in Jacksonville, Deguara appeared in 15 games for the Jaguars but caught only three passes.
