Former Packers executive: Aaron Rodgers standoff likely to last through training camp

GREEN BAY - The status of Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers for the 2021 season might not be resolved before late August or early September, former Packers executive Andrew Brandt said Wednesday.

Speaking on "The Ross Tucker Football Podcast," Brandt said that while the opening of training camp July 27 could be considered a possible deadline for Rodgers and the Packers to settle their differences, it could easily go deep into camp or beyond.

"You know my saying: Deadlines spur action," Brandt told Tucker. "And somehow I don't think training camp is the deadline for Aaron and the Packers.
