Former Green Bay Packers cornerback Robert Rochell, who departed to sign with the Kansas City Chiefs during free agency but was released shortly after, has landed with the Dallas Cowboys on a one-year deal. The Cowboys announced the move on Wednesday.
Rochell, 27, spent two seasons with the Packers, appearing in 20 regular season games and three playoff games between the 2023 and 2024 seasons. He played primarily on special teams, with 112 snaps played in 2023 and 121 in 2024. He saw just one snap on defense.
The Chiefs signed Rochell as an unrestricted free agent on March 25 but released him on May 6.
