BELOIT, WI (WTVO/WQRF) — In Beloit Sunday, history was made at ABC Supply Stadium the home of the Beloit Sky Carp. The first Border Brouhaha Charity Softball Game was played.
Former Packers’ receiver Jordy Nelson was one of the players, and so was former Packers’ kicker and all-time scoring leader Mason Crosby. They were the captains of Team Illinois and Team Wisconsin.
Two other former Packers also played, punter Tim Masthay, and linebacker Brad Jones.
Current Fighting Illini running back Ca’Lil Valentine was one of the stars for Team Illinois.
Team Wisconsin had Olympic speedskating legend Bonnie Blair.
