Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love is currently on an expiring contract, which means he’s due a $50 million-per-year payday very soon. If Love’s camp needed any help on the public relations front, Mike Tannenbaum — a former NFL general manager — came through big for his side of the negotiating table.
On the Dan Patrick Show, Tannenbaum — who now works in the media — stated that the only quarterback that he’d take over in a league-wide draft of players over Love is the Kansas City Chiefs’ Patrick Mahomes. At the moment, the only player whose career passer rating ranks higher than Mahomes’ is the man who Love replaced: Aaron Rodgers.
