And after two days of the NFL’s legal tampering period, the Green Bay Packers were in worse shape than when it all began.

The Packers lost right tackle Bryan Bulaga to the Los Angeles Chargers and inside linebacker Blake Martinez to the New York Giants. Both players agreed to three-year, $30 million contracts.

Green Bay tried to compensate with right tackle Rick Wagner (two years, $11 million) and linebacker Christian Kirksey (two years, $13 million) — two players that were released by their previous employers last week.
