It takes a two-week global sporting event that happens every four years and often produces plenty of green (and gold) for the media rights holders to affect a Green Bay Packers telecast in Wisconsin.
Due to 2024 Paris Summer Olympics coverage, the Packers' first preseason game, Saturday afternoon against the Cleveland Browns, will move from flagship stations WTMJ in Milwaukee and WGBA in Green Bay because both are NBC affiliates.
In Milwaukee, live coverage of the game will move to ION (Channel 55). The station is also available through most television or streaming carriers, including Spectrum and DirecTV.
