Favre: Rodgers likely won't end career with Packers

Brett Favre knows about being the Green Bay Packers' franchise quarterback and watching the team draft his heir apparent.

The Hall of Famer wound up playing the last three years of his NFL career outside of Green Bay, and he said Wednesday that he expects the same to happen with the Packers' current quarterback, Aaron Rodgers.

Green Bay traded up in last week's draft to select Utah State quarterback Jordan Love with the No. 26 overall pick.

Favre, speaking with NBC Sports Network's Rich Eisen, said his gut feeling is "he'll play somewhere else."

"I don't know this for certain, but I guarantee you, it's got the wheels turning in Aaron's mind," Favre said.
