Over the years, the social media landscape has grown from a place to simply share news to a tool for establishing the entire personality of a brand. This includes sports franchises like the Los Angeles Chargers, who were ranked as the top NFL Twitter account by Complex thanks to the lighter and sometimes edgier tone they’ve mastered over the years. On the other end of the rankings, the Green Bay Packers were dead last...ouch.
However, as many have noticed, the Packers have started breaking from their more traditional tone and messaging (perhaps with a little influence from David Bahktiari) and are including more light-hearted content across their social media channels.
