Fackrell-Martinez-Lowry trio earn raises, roles in Packers' D for 2019

GREEN BAY, Wis. – Kyler Fackrell led them in sacks, Blake Martinez led them in tackles, and Dean Lowry played more games than any of their defensive linemen.

Maybe the Green Bay Packers' 2016 draft class wasn’t so bad after all.

Because of their contributions, all three earned the NFL’s “proven performance escalator” for the 2019 season.

Each qualified by playing in at least 35 percent of snaps in at least two of their first three seasons. By doing so, their pay spiked to $2.02 million for this coming season.
