Packers president / CEO Mark Murphy would not address questions about Rodgers’ contract and the team’s apparently unwilling to commit to him beyond the 2021 season.
“I can’t really get into specific players," he said. "We’ve been able to create room with others.
"I'm not going to get into specifics."
That sound byte did not go unnoticed on ESPN's "NFL Live" the other day.
Host Laura Rutledge asked her panel if the comments, or lack thereof, was a big deal.
