While Eric Stokes may begin training camp on the physically unable to perform list, Bill Huber offered a very promising note on the veteran's timeline to return:
Stokes’ recovery is right on track, the source said, and the Packers are taking a cautious approach with a talented player. If all goes well, he could make his training camp debut in a couple weeks.
This is an excellent development for a player who suffered knee and foot injuries in the team's game in Detroit last year. The Lisfranc foot injury required the installation of a plate and two screws and not only ended Stokes' season, but required him to use a wheelchair during his initial recovery period.
