In defensive coordinator Jeff Hafley's first season with the team last year, the Green Bay Packers allowed the sixth-fewest points per game (19.9) and sixth-fewest total yards per game (315.6).
A significant part of that success can be attributed to linebacker Edgerrin Cooper, who was a rookie last season.
Despite an injury-riddled first year, Cooper immediately established himself as one of Green Bay's most dominant defensive players.
Cooper suffered hip and hamstring injuries during his rookie season, causing him to miss three full games and limiting his snaps in many games where he did suit up.
