Don't expect Packers to receive compensatory pick in 2026 draft

The Green Bay Packers are not expected to add draft capital through the compensatory pick process in 2026. Per updated projections from Nick Korte of Over the Cap, the Packers will not earn a compensatory pick in next year's draft after signing guard Aaron Banks and cornerback Nate Hobbs to qualifying deals in free agency.

While the Packers lost defensive tackle TJ Slaton, cornerback Eric Stokes, center Josh Myers and linebacker Eric Wilson in free agency, the team signed Banks to a deal averaging over $19 million per year and Hobbs to a deal averaging $12 million per year, cancelling out the departures.
