In an interview with "The Dan Patrick Show" from Lake Tahoe, former Green Bay Packers receiver Davante Adams told the harrowing story of missing a hand signal from quarterback Aaron Rodgers during one of his first games as a rookie.
Adams said he misinterpreted Rodgers' pre-snap signal, ran a slant instead of a different route and ended up in the wrong place on a passing play against the Detroit Lions early in the 2014 season.
And Rodgers, still a fiery young quarterback, was NOT happy about it.
"He's flying at me. When you see that finger come out and he starts skipping, you know it's problems," Adams said.
