Could the Green Bay Packers open NFL season playing the Philadelphia Eagles in Brazil? There's a good chance

GREEN BAY u2012 The Green Bay Packers have a one-in-seven chance of opening the 2024 season playing the Philadelphia Eagles in Brazil. In reality, their odds might be greater than that.

Last year, the NFL announced its full international games schedule in May. Teams designated to "host" international games this year include the Eagles in Sao Paulo; the Minnesota Vikings, Chicago Bears and Jaguars in London; and the Carolina Panthers in Munich, Germany.

The Eagles have nine home games this year. Remove division rivals plus Jacksonville and Carolina, which already are committed to games in London and Munich, respectively, and you have four opponents remaining.
