On Monday, the National Football League announced that the Philadelphia Eagles will be the designated team in the historic first-ever regular season game played in Brazil, as part of the 2024 International Games.
The New York Giants are among nine possible opponents for the game along with the Dallas Cowboys, Washington Commanders, Pittsburgh Steelers, Cleveland Browns, Atlanta Falcons, Jacksonville Jaguars, Carolina Panthers, and Green Bay Packers.
The game, which will be played on Friday, September 6, 2024, is the first time the NFL has played a game on a Friday night of their opening weekend in over 50 years.
