Cory's Corner: The NFL Needs Consistency

The NFL is sending mixed messages.

The Shield took plenty of abuse this past offseason after it missed a pass interference in the NFC Championship Game. The Saints were jobbed and the Rams ended up going to the Super Bowl.

The NFL took measures to try and wash its hands of that fiasco. Pass interference can now be reviewed, even if it isn't called on the field and coaches can challenge one of the most subjective rules in all of sports. (The most subjective call in sports is the block-charge in hoops.)

Now most would assume that the new rule would give a no-fly zone during the final two mintues of a ballgame.
