Cory's Corner: The NFL Is On The Offensive

It is no secret that the NFL prefers an offensive game. There’s a limited amount of contact a defensive back can dole out to pass catchers and pass rushers cannot hit a quarterback a whisper after he lets the ball go.

Now there are two more rules. The first one is the revised catch rule. I am not sure how to extrapolate this because I’m not totally sure what a catch was in the first place. But the fact the NFL is relaxing the catch rule means that more catches will be made. Eight receivers caught at least 90 balls last year and that number will easily go up.
