Cory's Corner: Not A Lot To Get Excited About

There is such a thing as good losses, but what about bad wins?

That happened on Sunday as the Packers trounced a beleaguered Rams team 20-3. That looks good in the boxscore, but that game was a referendum for Rams quarterback Brett Rypien, who was filling in for Matthew Stafford, and his exit from the league.

Even though Green Bay was blanked again in the first quarter, the Packers finally scored in the first half when Aaron Jones bounced off left tackle with 14:19 left in the second quarter. The last first half touchdown scored by the Packers was a touchdown pass to Jayden Reed in Week 2 in an eventual 25-24 loss to the Falcons.
