Cory's Corner: No Favors From The NFL

The NFL didn’t do the Packers any favors when they unveiled the 2023 schedule.

For the fifth straight year, the Packers will open up the season on the road. In 2019, Green Bay opened in Chicago, Green Bay was in Minnesota in 2020, in Jacksonville to take on the hurricane-displaced Saints in 2021, in Minnesota in 2022 and the Packers will open up 2023 in Chicago once again.

“There's nothing like having an opening day game at your home stadium with your crowd behind you,” said Packers coach Matt LaFleur. “But, the schedule-makers said that's not the case and we'll be prepared to play against a Chicago Bears team that, on paper, looks much improved.
