I really like the new Packers defensive coordinator Jeff Hafley. And it’s not because he just spent four years as the head coach at Boston College.
It’s because he’s not scared.
The Packers needed someone that is aggressive and is willing to put pressure on opposing teams.
Hafley was the co-defensive coordinator at Ohio State in 2019. The year before, the Buckeyes were ranked 98th in the nation with 23 runs of 20 yards or more. In 2019, Ohio State was ranked 37th with 14. Similarly, Ohio State was ranked 72nd in yards per play in 2018 and first in 2019.
