The storyline is obvious. The Packers whitewashed the Bears 38-20 at Soldier Field to kickstart the season.
But in what was known as the Unproven Bowl between both Jordan Love and Justin Fields, it was Love that passed the test.
“There’s a big-time belief in that locker room for Jordan Love,” said Packers coach Matt LaFleur.
Love was 15 of 27 for 245 yards, three touchdowns and a 123.2 passer rating. His only blemish was taking a sack for an eight yard loss right before halftime.
Coming into this season, there were a lot of question marks about whether Love could play or not.
