That is what had been expected all year. This is the Packers that I thought they could be.

Green Bay’s offense was brought back to life with a 31-28 overtime win over the Cowboys to snap its five-game losing skid.

“Man,” said Packers coach Matt LaFleur after the game. “It’s been a long time to stand up here and have a smile.”

The Packers turned those frowns upside down and they did it by believing in a rookie wideout. Christian Watson, who dropped a surefire touchdown in the season opener vs. Minnesota, was tabbed by many Packers fans as a bust.
