Cory's Corner: All Quiet On The Rodgers Front

Remember when the trade between the Jets and Packers was just about completed?

That seemed like a Rodgers’ haircut ago and now a trade between the Jets and Packers seems like a mirage on a lonely highway. The Jets claimed they really wanted the 39-year-old Rodgers, but they have been hesitant about the asking price.

And I don’t blame Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst. Rodgers isn’t owed a cent until Week 1 and the Packers can just sit back and wait. If the Jets really want to start Zach Wilson, they can do that. But that probably isn’t the best move, seeing as how the Jets didn’t put their trust in him last year.
