Cory's Corner: Aaron Jones Is A No Doubter

The value of running backs has fallen below the basement.

But the Packers don’t have a choice — they have to bring back Aaron Jones.

Yessir!

According to Spotrac, Jones has a cap hit of $17.5 million in 2024. The only Packers that are currently scheduled to get higher cap hits than Jones are David Bakhtiari ($39.9 million), Kenny Clark ($27.4) and Jaire Alexander ($23.9).

Jones, 29, proved that he is the engine for this young Packers offense. Matt LaFleur has always wanted a running back as versatile and quick as Jones. The problem was, it never seemed like he was getting enough carries — either because Aaron Rodgers always chose to pass in the RPO or LaFleur was too busy protecting him and his 5-9 frame.
