Indianapolis Colts' head coach announced that Daniel Jones will start against the Green Bay Packers in the second preseason game.
Jones will play a couple of series, and then Anthony Richardson will replace him for the rest of the first half. The starters will play roughly a quarter, according to The Athletic's James Boyd.
This is a slight deviation from the original plan that Steichen had put in place. With Richardson starting against Baltimore, Jones was already going to be the starter against Green Bay.
However, with Richardson exiting the preseason opener early and Jones playing 31 snaps in that contest, Richardson will now get more snaps in Week 2.
