The Browns addressed their need for a punter by signing Corey Bojorquez, the team announced Monday.
Bojorquez was an unrestricted free agent after spending last season with the Green Bay Packers, whose special teams struggled in 2021.
A blocked Bojorquez punt returned for a touchdown allowed the San Francisco 49ers to tie the score against the Packers late in regulation of an NFC divisional-round playoff game and prevail 13-10 on Jan. 22 at Lambeau Field.
Bojorquez punted 53 times last season for 2,467 yards (46.5 average). The Packers acquired him in August in a trade with the Los Angeles Rams.
